Yoga for New Beginners Workshop
Wondering if the time is right for you to start yoga?
ABSOLUTELY! Yoga can help everybody and every body type to be more flexible, strong, agile and balanced in body and mind. Living more comfortably in your body enables better sleep, stress management, healthy weight and active aging.
Yoga for Brand New Beginners is a special 3-class series designed to prepare you for regular, drop-in yoga classes. In the company of other beginners, you will learn basic poses and breathing, some typical sequences and how to use props to adapt the poses to your body type and level of flexibility. Each class will build upon the previous week. This series is for you if you have no major physical limitations or injuries and are looking to increase your flexibility, strength and overall mental and physical fitness. If you are recovering from an injury, have a chronic special condition, or are interested in maintaining your flexibility and balance as you age please take a look at any of our Gentle Yoga classes – they are always appropriate for beginners.
The classes will be a yoga practice, so come dressed for yoga. If you need a loaner mat, please let us know when you register.
The fee for this series is $25. Attendees will receive a coupon for 20% off their first purchase of a pass or retail product from the studio.
