Lauren O’Brien, E-RYT500, is an artist and writer who is devoted to teaching yoga in a way that helps people find a strong inner light and become integrated with their own true sense of self. Lauren has the ability to make the practice of yoga both exciting and possible for all ages and abilities.
Lauren has been inspired by her beloved teachers: Chris Chavez, Jonas Westring, Emil Wendel, Lino Miel, Dr. Judith Lasater, Valerie Jeremijenko, Desiree Rumbaugh, Betsy Downing, Sianna Sherman and Max Strom. Weaving together the diversity of her own yoga studies translates into a rich yoga experience for her students.
Lauren has a reputation for enthusiastic soulful, and intelligent yoga instruction. With a knowledge based in years of practice and experience, Lauren strives to create inspiring, compassionate and supportive classes where students can explore their own ranges of motion and emotion.
Her energetic classes creatively weave together alignment principles and breath work as she models compassion, open mindedness, forgiveness and patience to what life (and yoga practice) brings.
“Start by doing what is necessary, then what is possible, and suddenly you are doing the impossible.”
― St. Francis of Assisi

Lauren subs at YogaGeauga when visiting Northeast Ohio and will conduct the occasional workshop.
